Triple Combo

The Triple Combo is a comprehensive three-piece set designed for hunters who require a variety of tools for field-dressing large game animals. Here’s a breakdown of the components:

Knives:
Brown Bear Skinner/Cleaver:
  • A large cleaver suitable for heavy-duty tasks like cutting through cartilage or chopping through bone during processing.  Also useful for camp chores and building shelter.
  • D2 tool steel construction for durability when handling demanding cutting tasks.

Light Hunter:
  • A medium-sized skinner/cleaver suitable for various field-dressing tasks like skinning, fleshing and chopping through the sternum or pelvic girdle of big game.
  • D2 tool steel construction for consistency in performance and durability across the set.

Cub Bear Caping Knife:
  • A smaller knife with a scalpel-like point, ideal for precise cuts.
  • D2 tool steel construction for consistency across the set.

Combo and Sheath:
  • Suregrip Handles:  Checkered, rubberized handles for a confident grip during field dressing.  Available in black or hunter orange.
  • Stag Handles:  A classic, beautiful and impressive choice on this set.  We use elk antler and stabilize it for durability.
  • Combination Leather Sheath: This high-quality sheath offers secure storage for all three knives, but due to weight, it’s not designed for belt carry. It’s more suitable for transport in saddle bags, backpacks or vehicles, or for use at the campsite.

Overall, the Triple Combo is a valuable choice for professional hunters and outfitters who require a comprehensive set of knives for various field-dressing tasks. The combination of a large knife for heavy-duty tasks, a medium-sized knife for skinning and fleshing, and a small, precise knife for caping provides the necessary tools for complete processing of large game animals.

1 review for Triple Combo

  1. Dave Sauer, Grafton WI

I recently purchased the triple knife set just before leaving on an October elk hunt in Colorado. I was extremely pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of the set. I have since purchased two more of your knives, and hope to purchase my fourth for my son, who just turned one year old. I want him to have a knife to look forward to using when he is ready to start enjoying the outdoors. From a person who doesn’t mind paying a little more for a better product, thank you for making knives my son and I will enjoy for many years to come.
